One of the reasons FNAF 4 stands out from other horror games is its terrifying cast of nightmare animatronics. These monstrous versions of familiar characters are among the most disturbing designs in the entire franchise.

Nightmare Freddy controls small creatures known as Freddles, which gather on the player's bed. Nightmare Bonnie and Nightmare Chica attack from opposite hallways, forcing players to react quickly.

Nightmare Foxy hides inside the closet and becomes increasingly dangerous if neglected. Later in the game, players must face Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare, two of the most difficult enemies in the series.

Each character behaves differently, creating a dynamic gameplay experience that constantly challenges players. Learning these patterns is essential for surviving all five nights.
