So... About That Chemistry Class…

So, I’m just gonna say it—I'm in way over my head with this online chemistry class. I started off thinking, “Oh, it’s just basic stuff, I can handle it,” but fast forward to week 5, and I’m basically Googling “How to Fake Your Way Through Chemistry 101” and hoping for the best. Like, when the professor starts talking about atomic structures, my brain literally goes into "sleep mode" and I’m just nodding along, hoping I don’t get called on. I’m honestly one bad grade away from just Googling “take my online chemistry class for me”
The worst part? It’s not even the difficult concepts, it’s the amount of material. There’s always something new to learn—last week it was acids and bases, this week it's mole calculations (whatever that even means). I swear, I’m just pretending to understand it. Every time I do a quiz, I’m like, "Alright, let’s hope I remember at least one equation from the study guide." And don't even get me started on lab reports... how do I explain a reaction I don't even understand?
The worst feeling is knowing I’ve spent more time looking at memes about chemistry than actually studying the material. It’s like I’ve read all the jokes about electrons and atoms having "feelings" (because that's helpful), but when it comes to actually doing the work? I’ve got nothing. Anyone else in the same boat? Or should I just hire a personal chem tutor to take my online chemistry class for me at this point?
