u4gm D2R FOH Paladin Tips for Calm High Rune Runs

#1 Сообщение LunarTinker »

Some nights on a Fist of the Heavens Paladin feel less like farming and more like doing chores with lightning. You know the loop by heart: land in town, hit the waypoint, teleport in, throw FOH, let Redemption tidy up, then squint at the ground for anything worth keeping. That's where discipline matters. Not the flashy kind, either. The boring kind. The kind that makes you check charms, keep your resists capped, and remember that even good diablo 2 resurrected items don't save you if you start playing half asleep.

Chaos Sanctuary Keeps Earning Its Spot
For an FOH Paladin, Chaos Sanctuary just makes sense. The layout is familiar, the monster types are kind to Holy Bolt, and the seals give the run a nice shape. You're not wandering around hoping the map feels generous. You've got a route. That helps a lot when you're doing run after run. Still, Chaos can turn your brain into mush if you never leave it. After a while, you stop respecting danger. You teleport a little too far. You ignore an ugly aura stack. Then suddenly your “safe” farm isn't safe at all.

The Pit Is Slower, But That's Not Always Bad
The Pit doesn't have the same rhythm, and yeah, the density can be odd. One run feels packed, the next one feels like you're clearing a storage closet. But that slower pace can be useful. It makes you look again. It breaks the autopilot. I like it as a reset farm when Chaos starts feeling too automatic. You still get access to strong treasure classes, and you're less likely to rush into a bad pack just because your hands are moving faster than your brain. That matters more than people admit.

Travincal Isn't Magic For Every Build
Travincal gets hyped because the screenshots are loud. Someone posts a Ber or Jah, and suddenly half the ladder thinks they're one session away from wealth. But FOH doesn't always feel smooth there. Council members can be awkward, the pressure comes fast, and if your gear isn't sturdy, it turns into a potion-drinking mess. I'd rather build around consistency first: faster cast rate, resistances, enough mana comfort, and movement that doesn't feel sticky. Extra damage is nice, sure. Being alive for the next run is better.

Keep The Session Clean
High rune farming has a nasty way of messing with your expectations. You can play well for three hours and see nothing but low runes, rare junk, and a few gems you don't even want. That's normal. Some players start looking at shortcut markets or sites like U4GM, which are known for game currency and item services, but you still need to think about account safety and what you're comfortable risking. Personally, I'd rather slow down, rotate routes, and stop when my play gets sloppy. The best farming habit isn't grinding forever; it's knowing when the next run is a bad idea.
